Cybersecurity Founders Network Expands Platform with Real-Time Group Chat, Private Messaging, and LinkedIn-Style Member Profiles

New communications features transform CFN from a forum into a fully connected private network for America's top cybersecurity founders

The Cybersecurity Founders Network today announced a major platform expansion, adding real-time group chat, private direct messaging, and LinkedIn-style member profiles to its private founder portal — giving CFN members a complete professional network purpose-built for the cybersecurity industry.

The new Network Chat feature provides a persistent, real-time group messaging environment for all approved CFN members, with support for image sharing, message history, and live connection indicators. Private Direct Messaging allows any two members to communicate one-on-one, with unread message badges, deep-linking, and real-time delivery powered by server-sent events.

Member Profiles give each founder a dedicated public-facing page within the portal, featuring a profile photo, company information, title, bio, LinkedIn integration, and a Verified Founder badge. A searchable Member Directory allows founders to find and connect with peers by name, company, or specialty.

"We didn't want to build another forum. We wanted to build the network that cybersecurity founders actually needed," said Brad Haizlett, Founder of the Cybersecurity Founders Network. "Real-time chat, private messaging, verified profiles — these are the tools that turn a community into a network."

The platform expansion also includes a Jobs Board where CFN members can post and discover cybersecurity-specific roles, an Events section anchored by CFN's presence at Black Hat 2026, and a Resource Vault with curated GTM playbooks, pitch deck templates, and compliance guides.

All CFN platform features are available exclusively to approved members. Applications are open to US citizens actively building cybersecurity companies. Apply at cybersecurityfounders.com.
